We are a collective dedicated to assisting the community through  promoting the arts by setting up shows, hosting skill shares, and providing literature in the shape of 'zines (home-made magazines). We are made up of all walks of life and embrace a DIY (Do It Yourself) philosophy , consisting largely of reusing and reshaping materials rather than just buying new ones. The 1201 Collective has been around for almost four years! We are currently in the process of becoming a non-profit 501(c)3, geared towards helping adolescents and other young adults primarily in the Coachella Valley.
